I was born on the 24 day of October 1879 at Kurikka, Finland. I emigrated to the United States from Liverpool, England via Montreal, Canada on or about the 1 day of June 1900 and arrived in the United States at the port of Buffalo, New York via Grank Trunk Railroad on the 18 day of June 1900. I declared my intention to become a citizen of the United States on the 18 day of April 1911 at Jefferson, Ohio. I am married. My wife's name is Amelia Katariina Plosila. She was born in Kouvola, Finland. I have three children , Paavo Plosila born October 10th, 1909 at Conneaut, Ohio; Bryno Plosila, born August 19th, 1911 at Conneaut, Ohio; and Toini Plosila, born March 28th, 1913 at Conneaut, Ohio. I have resided continuously in the United States of America for the term of five years at least, immediately preceding the date of this petition, to wit, since the 18 day of June 1900 and in the state of Ohio, continuously next preceding the date of this petition, since the 18 day of June 1900.
